Model CS 3 A & B
Sturdy and rugged comparator
stands with cast iron base. They are provided with hardened stress relieved
ground and lapped rectangular flat or serrated base. The hardened and ground
vertical column is fitted to base at the corner of the table. This allows the
dial gauge to be positioned vertically over all the points on the base. The
vertical column is available in two lengths 300 mm for CS 3A and 400 mm for CS
3B.The column has helical threaded arm on which the dial gauge is fixed and can
be accurately positioned on the job by means of a threaded nut. The sliding arm
allows the indication device to be brought in any position above the plain
table. This enables checking of pieces with large dimensions.
